In southern Germany there was a village named Gherkin.  The people of Gherkin took agriculture very seriously. The highlands and pastures surrounding Gherkin were covered with rich clover and grass, and because of these fertile lands, the village had abundant dairy products and meats that were shared by all the people.  Being good Germans they developed a system...
