Mom and Dad joined my family in Phoenix in August, 2004. Three months after the move, Dad became seriously ill, diagnosed with a serious and often violent terminal mental condition called Louis Body Dementia. He stopped all physical activity. Within three months his ability to move was almost gone. He was confined to a wheel chair and for the next two years he didn’t speak.
